La Dimora di Spartivento is located just outside Ragusa, one of the most famous Baroque cities in the region. The property dates back to the 19th century and has been lovingly restored. During the renovation, care was taken to preserve the history of the house – today you can still find original Modica stone floors, thick walls, elegant arches, and the typical Sicilian charm. At the same time, comfort has been brought to a modern level. In every detail, you can feel the appreciation for tradition without sacrificing amenities.

The hotel has 23 individually designed rooms. The decor combines historical elements with modern accents. All rooms are air-conditioned, have a private bathroom with soft bathrobes and high-quality toiletries, a flat-screen TV, and a minibar with regional specialties. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Many rooms offer a wide view of the landscape or into the well-kept garden – a place that radiates tranquility and is perfect for relaxing between dance lessons.

As part of our Dance Travels Tanzreise, our guests can expect a comprehensive catering package that goes far beyond a normal breakfast. The day begins in the morning with a rich breakfast buffet: Fresh pastries, homemade cakes, egg dishes, seasonal fruits, and local specialties are ready. Plant-based alternatives such as oat or almond milk are also available. At noon, there is a light snack – perfect for a little boost between two workshops. In the evening, our participants enjoy a communal dinner with typical dishes from the region, fresh pasta, fish, or vegetarian options. The ingredients mainly come from the region and reflect the diversity of Sicilian cuisine.

La Dimora di Spartivento is not only beautiful – it is also functional for what we do. The spacious outdoor areas and covered terraces are ideal for our dance workshops. In a quiet, inspiring environment, our guests can fully immerse themselves in movement, music, and community. Between sessions, cozy seating areas in the garden, the large infinity pool, or a hammock under olive trees invite relaxation. Those who still have energy left can work out in the fitness room. Families with children also feel at home here, as a small playground provides entertainment.

In just a few minutes, you can reach the old town of Ragusa, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its baroque architecture. Whether it's a walk through narrow alleys, an afternoon at the beach, or a visit to a local market – from here, you can experience Sicily in all its facets.
